Fire crews tackle 2,000 tonne rubbish fire

Fire crews in Cardiff are tackling a large fire at a recycling plant, involving around 2,000 tonnes of rubbish.

Crews were called to the site in Wentloog at around 8.30am.

Residents living in the area are being asked to keep their windows and doors closed to avoid smoke.

South Wales Fire and Rescue said 13 appliances were in attendance.
