Wales' footballers have moved up to an all-time high of 8th in the latest FIFA world rankings.
The news comes as Chris Coleman prepares to name his squad later today for their last two Euro 2016 qualifying games, needing just a point to secure their place at a first major tournament finals since 1958.
The rankings rise from 9th to 8th is reward for a 1-0 victory over Cyprus and a 0-0 draw with Israel at the start of September - as Wales moved even closer to qualification for next summer's European Championships, but couldn't quite finish the job.

Coleman should be able to name a strong squad to travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday 10 October, and finish the campaign at home against Andorra on Tuesday 13 October.
