Police appeal after fatal road collision near Caerphilly

Police are appealing for information after a fatal road traffic collision on the Northbound A468, just before the Pontypandy Roundabout, Caerphilly at approximately 03:30 today.

The collision involved one vehicle, a blue coloured Seat Ibiza.

There were two men in the vehicle, one from the Bridgend area and one from the Maesycwmmer area.

A 24-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene and officers are supporting his family at this time.

The 24-year-old male driver was taken to hospital and is stable.
