Road closures in Cardiff city centre due to 10K run
There are road closures around the centre of Cardiff this morning, as a record 5,000 people take part in the 10K and 2K road races.
It is the 30th year of the event, organised by charity Kidney Wales.
Roads affected by closures include:
- A48 Western Avenue nearside westbound lane from the Taff River Bridge to junction with Mill Lane
- North Road Cycle Path, across junction with Corbett Road/North Road
- Castle Street
- Westgate Street north of junction with Park Street
- Duke Street
- Kingsway
- North Road south of Colum Road
- Boulevard de Nantes
- Corbett Road
- Cowbridge Road East east of its junction with Neville Street
- Lower Cathedral Road north of its junction with Neville Street
- Penhill (except for access)
- Cathedral Road
- Museum Avenue
- City Hall Road
- College Road
- Gorsedd Gardens Road
- Museum Place
