Family pay tribute to dad-of-two who died in crash

A man who died in a fatal road traffic collision in Port Talbot on Sunday evening has been named as 26-year-old Andrew Lee Thomas James, from Penrhiwfer in the Rhondda.

The collision happened at around 9.55pm on Sunday 16th August at Afan Way involving a silver Suzuki Ignis and a black Ford Focus approximately 200 meters east of the junction with Victoria Road.

The father-of-two was described in a tribute by his family as "fun loving character".

He doted on his two children and he had such a heart of gold. He would help anyone at any time. He loved life and definitely lived it to the full. He always liked to try new things and never afraid to give things a go.

His death has left such a massive void in all our lives that can never be filled. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision. Three passengers of the vehicles involved continue to be treated in hospital.
