Police van in loading bay slapped with parking ticket
A police van has been fined for staying beyond the two hours allowed in a parking bay.
Red-faced officers will have to pay the £60 fine after parking warden slapped the ticket on the windscreen of the van.
The mobile police station was booked in the loading bay at Haverfordwest as part of its calls around rural villages in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
Eagle-eyed passer-by Rachel Gratton took a photo of the unoccupied van and its parking ticket then posted it on Facebook. She said the police were parked there "for ages".
One of her friends commented: "Good, there can't be one rule for them and another for us."
A Dyfed-Powys police spokeswoman said: "A parking ticket was issued to a police van for parking in a loading bay and we are in the process of paying the ticket."
