Man arrested after woman seriously injured in crash
A man's been arrested after a crash in Gwynedd which left a woman with severe leg injuries.
The woman, from Birmingham, was one of two pedestrians hit by a blue Suzuki Vitara car on the A496 in Llanaber, just north of Barmouth, shortly after 6.35pm last night. She was airlifted to hospital in Stoke.
The 62-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and dangerous driving and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
North Wales Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to call 101 quoting reference number RC15118203.
