Two men have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary following an incident in Aberdare this morning. Armed police were called to the John Street area where the two suspects were hiding in a house.
Two men have been arrested following an incident in Aberdare this morning.
Police were called to Wellington Street at around 7am following reports of an aggravated burglary. Investigations led officers to an address in John Street where two suspects were found. The men were arrested following 'extensive negotiations.'
South Wales Police says armed officers were sent to John Street as it had been reported that a firearm was involved. An air weapon was recovered from the John Street property. Investigations are continuing.
