Body found in search for missing holidaymaker
Police have found the body of a man on an Isle of Wight beach in the investigation into a man from Wales who went missing on a coach holiday.
Michael, aged 71, from Blaina in Gwent was enjoying a break with his wife when he went missing in May.
Hampshire Constabulary say the body was found on marshland in Sandown at around 3pm on Wednesday.
Formal identification has not yet taken place and the death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
Officers looking for missing 71 year-old man Michael Davies have made contact with his family to keep them informed of the discovery.
