Man, 43, charged with murder of woman in Pencoed
Mark Lewis Stephens, 43, has been charged with the murder of a 67-year-old woman in Pencoed, police say. The woman has been named as Rita Stephens.
Man charged with murder of woman in Pencoed
A 43-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman near Bridgend.
Mark Lewis Stephens was arrested after police were called to an address in Tonteg in Pencoed shortly after 5.30pm on Saturday.
The woman has been named as 67-year-old Rita Stephens.
Police say Mr Stephens has also been charged with making threats to kill. He is due to appear at Bridgend Magistrates Court this morning.
