Seven-year-old Carwyn Scott Hall died after falling from a cliff in the French Alps on the 10th April. He is reported to have become separated from his family before ending up off-piste.

An officer with the Bonneville mountain rescue service told reporters at the time that Carwyn fell off the rocky outcrop after apparently losing his way.

The funeral will take place at St. Mary's Church on Monk Street in Abergavenny and mourners have been told to wear bright colours to remember Carwyn - particularly blue, red and purple, which were his favourite colours.

The family has also said that donations in memory of Carwyn can be made to Wales Air Ambulance and Brecon Beacons Mountain Rescue. There will be a bucket collection at the service.
