The A44 from Aberystwyth to Llangurig has now been reopened after being closed to motorists. Ceredigion County Council has sent out snow ploughs to help clear the route.
Ceredigion council says the forecast for the area is: “Showers may initially fall above 250-300m this afternoon with 1-2cm, although the snow level will drop to around 100m in the evening. Snow showers possible down to sea level overnight, but are most likely to accumulate above 100m with an additional 1-4cm on the highest ground”.
