Police appeal after Cwmbran donkey suffers injuries

Police are appealing for information after a donkey suffered puncture wounds to its body at a Cwmbran farm.

The 22-year-old animal, called Cheeky, has been treated for injuries to her neck, abdomen and hind legs.

Officers say it happened at Greenmeadow Community Farm sometime between 5pm on Friday 28 November and 8am on Saturday 29 November.

Anyone with information is asked to call Gwent Police on the 101 number, quoting log 136 29/11/14.
