Rhythmic gymnasts Francesca Jones, Laura Halford and Nikara Jenkins have made history by winning Wales' first ever Commonwealth Games team medal as they claimed silver in Glasgow.
The trio finished behind favourites Canada thanks to an all-round consistent performance, with Jones especially impressive on the way to a second-placed finish in the qualifications for the individual all-around.
The silver medal means Jones is the most successful Welsh gymnast in Commonwealth Games history.
Swimmer Georgia Davies is looking to build on her success in the 100m final with a medal in the 50m backstroke.
18 year old gymnast Laura Halford hopes to follow in the footstep of Frankie Jones who has won six medals in Glasgow.
The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games starts today with the opening ceremony at Celtic Park.
