Coast & Country at the Dyfi Osprey Project

This week Andrew meets ospreys Monty and Glesni at Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve.

He goes behind the scenes at the project which is run by Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust and takes a tour around the brand new 360 degree observatory.

Hannah visits South Wales dairy farmer Rob Reader, who has been using Glastir, a Welsh Government Scheme that offers farmers subsidies in exchange for completing work that benefits the environment, since 2012.

Hannah also meets Jen Stockdale, a PHD student studying the effects that wildlife friendly farming has on the nesting habitats and diets of birds and is using Rob’s farm as a case study.

Nicola is discovering all about the pioneering work done by the Glyncorrwg Ponds Co-operative.

She also goes fly fishing with guidance from Welsh Youth Fly Fishing Champions Grant Davies and Lewis Rumble.
