Woman denies indecent image charges in Watkins probe

Joanne Mjadzelics pleads not guilty over indecent image charges

Joanne Mjadzelics appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court via video link and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

She is accused of four counts of possession of an indecent image, two counts of distributing an indecent image and one count of encouraging another to distribute an indecent image.

Prosecutors said the alleged offences came to light during the investigation into paedophile rock singer Ian Watkins.

Ms Mjadzelics was bailed to appear before Cardiff Crown Court on April 7.

Appearing via video link from Doncaster Magistrates Court, she was granted bail on the condition that she has no unsupervised contact with a child under the age of 16 and posts no images of a child on social media.
