Premier League taking legal action against other pubs
The Premier League says it welcomes a judge's ruling that a Swansea hotel infringed copyright by broadcasting live football - and says it will continue to pursue legal action against other pubs.
We are pleased that the Court awarded an injunction against the infringing premises together with an order for damages and payment of our costs.
We are currently undertaking our largest ever investigations programme and have commenced legal action against several pubs and will continue to do so.
Sky Sports and BT Sport are authorised to show live Premier League football in pubs and legitimate commercial subscriptions for use in pubs can be obtained from them.
