Boudicca says she has been overwhelmed by the public's reaction since posting the advert.

She told ITV News: "I just wanted to do something to help. I've wanted to for a long time, but haven't had the time to do it until now.

"It escalated mostly with the general public just getting back to me and saying they'd seen my advert and saying it was a nice idea. I had lots of those. And lots of people saying it's lifted their spirits - and one person said it made them cry, which then made me want to cry!"

Boudicca now cooks meals for another local family - and hopes more people will want to get involved in future.
