Cardiff Bay facility helps train flood crews across UK

Emergency services from across the UK have been using the Cardiff International White Water Centre to train for flood rescues.

After weeks of wild weather, ambulance crews are learning new skills so they can directly access people trapped in torrents of water requiring treatment.

It's part of a push for ambulance crews to reach casualties faster, rather than waiting for Fire and Rescue personnel to bring the injured to them.
