Young girl travels over 5,000 miles a year for choir practice

A young chorister is clocking up nearly 5,000 miles a year travelling back and forth to her choir practice.

Holly Fry and her parents make the 80 mile round journey from Bridgend to Llanelli more than once a week, so she can sing with the Hywel Girls choir.

Parents Joy and Steven say they are happy to take Holly to rehearsals as singing has built her confidence and helped her make new friends.

The Hywel Girls Choir has performed alongside celebrity singers, Russell Watson and Sophie Evans.
