Arrest in investigation into abuse in North Wales care
Police investigating historical cases of child abuse in the North Wales care system made their 14th arrest.
A 60-year-old man from Oswestry in Shropshire was detained for questioning on suspicion of a number of cases of child cruelty.
The offences are alleged to have taken place against three boys between 1978 and 1984, when they were aged between 15 and 16.
The man has been taken to a local police station where he will be interviewed by National Crime Agency officers from Operation Pallial.
