Pride of Britain Awards
The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards 2013 have taken place. A Vale of Glamorgan lollipop lady was recognised for her bravery, after she risked her life to save a group of children when a car crashed outside their school.
Pride of Britain Local Hero finalist: Phil Jones
Phil Jones from Wrexham has helped raise more than £5.5 million for charity.
Whilst working at Airbus he led their charity campaign making millions. He's been a committed volunteer for more than 25 years - helping promote local football, raising money for the local hospice and always prepared to offer a helping hand to anyone who needs it.
