Couple lose appeal to save 'Hobbit House'
The builders of a Hobbit-style house erected in Pembrokeshire without planning permission have lost their appeal against an enforcement notice.
Charlie Hague and Megan Williams, both 25, built the £15,000 eco-house on land owned by Mr Hague's parents in Glandwr, near Whitland.
A Planning Inspector upheld the enforcement notice, which ruled that the building must be demolished, along with its decking, and the land returned to its previous condition within two months.
The couple have now submitted a retrospective planning application, which Pembrokeshire County Council says will be 'considered on its merits'.
