Bonnie Tyler makes her local hero nomination

ITV is once again joining forces with the Daily Mirror to find the individual you think deserves to be crowned our local hero 2013.

We are looking for people who go the extra mile to be a real force for good in their neighbourhood - they could be volunteers, or professionals who go way above and beyond the call of duty - people we should be celebrating.

Swansea's own Bonnie Tyler joined the campaign today by saying who she would want to nominate.

The Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards will be screened later this year on ITV.
