The family of missing Kyle Vaughan from Caerphilly has appealed for information on his whereabouts. Police say eight arrests have been made in the investigation so far.

Blackwood man arrested in Kyle Vaughan investigation

Detectives investigating the disappearance of 24-year-old Kyle Vaughan from Newbridge have arrested a 24 year old man from the Blackwood area on suspicion of murder.

Kyle was last seen on December 30th. Yesterday, his family made an appeal for information concerning his whereabouts.

We want to reassure people that we continuing to make every effort to locate Kyle and to investigate the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

Family liaison officers are continuing to provide Kyle's family with support at this very difficult and upsetting time.

I'm urging anyone who has any information about Kyle's disappearance, no matter how unimportant it may seem, to contact Gwent Police on 101. Information can also be passed on with complete anonymity via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
