A group of parents in Gwynedd are keeping their children away from Ysgol Groeslon for the day to stage a protest at the condition of the school.

50 parents and up to half the pupils who should have been inside for the first day were protesting outside Credit: Rob Shelley/ITV News Wales

Gwynedd County Council has had to condemn parts of the building, which means that some classes will have to be taught - possibly at the same time - in the school hall.

The council says the move to the hall is an interim measure until a 'temporary classroom unit' for Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 pupils is installed in two weeks time.
