Ormerod signed by Wrexham FC

Wrexham FC have confirmed the signing of former Blackpool striker Brett Ormerod on a free transfer.

The 35 year-old, who played in the Premier League two seasons ago, has signed a two-year deal at the Racecourse.

Ormerod scored the winning goal in Blackpools 3-2 victory over Cardiff in the 2010 Championship play-off final.

"I'm really pleased that we have been able to tie up signing Brett," said manager Andy Morrell."He has played in all four divisions of the Football League and last year was scoring in the Championship."
