Rhondda AM calls for clarity over pension fund
Rhondda AM Leighton Andrews has called for clarity as it is revealed an Assembly Members' pension scheme is investing around £90,000 in Burberry.
The company made staff redundant from its factory in Treorchy back in 2007 and saw a strong campaign from a number of AMs to keep the work in Wales.
Mr Andrews, who led the political campaign against the closure of the factory, said: "I have discussed this with the GMB Union, which represented the bulk of the Burberry workers, and I have written to the Pension Fund Trustees asking for clarification.
"My constituents who worked at the factory will rightly want answers."
