A businessman working for a major Welsh company was killed when he was knocked off his bike on holiday in Menorca.

Chief financial officer Phillip J Rasmussen, 47, was hit on Sunday morning as he cycled from the village of Alcaufar to Sant Lluis.

The American-born dad-of-three, who works at leading Cardiff-based technology company IQE, had a home on the Spanish Island.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after failing a breathalyser test.
