This real life cat burglar keeps stealing clothes from neighbours
A cat owner from Cardiff has sent letters of apology to her neighbours - because her cat keeps stealing their clothes.
The pesky puss called Pumpkin has been on a stealing spree, bringing home fresh garments every day.
Owner Zoe Davies, 44, said: "This week alone I've had ten pairs of knickers... two bras and two pairs of tights."
The family always find the clothes in the morning, and are alerted by Pumpkin crying after she's brought something new home.
Zoe, from Fairwater in Cardiff, said: "I've had t-shirts, socks, gardening gloves, tea towels, leggings, men's pants. One week she brought home a pair of knickers, then a few days later brought me the matching bra, I thought that was quite impressive".
Zoe posted letters through six of her neighbours' doors explaining what's going on - and asking if they want to be reunited with their clothes. She believes the haul could be coming from the same house - as the garments are all the same size and make. But no-one has yet laid claim to the array of underwear and other clothes.
None of the items that Pumpkin returns ever have pegs on, so Zoe thinks it's unlikely that she's taking them from washing lines. She thinks that she's getting into houses either through cat-flaps or windows that have been left open due to the hot weather.
Zoe said: "I don't want people to worry there is a cat burglar out there - it is just Pumpkin on the prowl."
