Firefighters have extinguished the blaze at a scrapyard at Fforestfach Industrial Estate.
The fire involved over 4,000 tyres, cylinders and scrap vehicles.
At its height, over 70 firefighters with 10 pumps and special appliances were fighting the flames.
The team contained the fire before putting out the fire during the early hours of this morning.
A fire investigation is currently underway.
