Remembering Welsh Juventus legend John Charles
On Saturday, Juventus will take on Real Madrid in the Champions League Final in Cardiff. For fans of the Italian side, it's a chance to remember one of their greatest imports - Wales' John Charles.
Charles became known as the darling of Italian football, scoring more than a hundred goals for Juventus. He had joined the club for a record transfer fee of £65,000 in the 1950s.

Born in Cwmbwrla in Swansea, Charles played for Swansea Youth, and had a spell at Cardiff City in the mid 1960s. But he was perhaps best remembered for his time at Leeds and Juventus, where he was nicknamed the 'Gentle Giant'.
Charles died in 2004, and is regarded as one of Wales' greatest ever footballers.
