In Focus: The need to tackle the abuse of Coercive Control
We've all heard of domestic violence. It's said 1 in 4 women will experience it in their lives but not all abuse is physical.
Just over a year ago a new law around coercive control was introduced. That's when a partner does things like taking control of your bank account or stopping you from seeing friends or family.
It's described as behaviour that makes a victim feel controlled, isolated or scared.
But since then only a handful of prosecutions have been made in Wales. As part of In Focus ITV Wales has been given exclusive access to training sessions with police as they learn how to spot the signs.
