Police investigating body found on Swansea beach

An investigation is underway after a body was found on a beach in Swansea.

The discovery, near the Civic Centre and Marriott hotel, was reported just after 6.30am this morning. Part of a walkway remains cordoned off.

It is not yet known whether the person is a man or a woman.
