'It's awesome!' - Darth Vader actor Spencer Wilding on his Star Wars role

Actor Spencer Wilding has spoken for the first time about playing Darth Vader in the new Star Wars film 'Rogue One'.

The film - telling the events leading up to the 1977 original - is a worldwide smash.

Wilding spoke to ITV Wales as he attended a special screening of the film in his home town of Rhyl.

As before, Darth Vader's speaking voice is provided by James Earl Jones.

Actor Dave Prowse wore the Vader suit in the original trilogy.

Wilding said he and actor Daniel Naprous - who played Vader in other scenes - went to great effort to keep the performance as authentic possible.
