The British Medical Association survey says there is an overwhelming number of respondents (82.1%) reporting that they are worried about the sustainability of their practice.
Now the doctors' group is launching a campaign highlighting what it says are the the challenges faced by GPs
It says the survey findings highlighted frustration within the profession, GPs facing the strain of working in understaffed practices and practitioners considering reducing their working hours to manage growing pressures or leaving the profession entirely.
