Mother continues to fight for access to full report into her daughter's death

A mother whose teenage daughter was found dead whilst in the care of Pembrokeshire social services says she still doesn't have all the answers.

It's been four years since 14-year-old Seren Bernard took her own life in April 2012.

Sarah Pollock has continued to campaign for access to the full report by the council into her daughter's death, which she says she's been denied.

So far she's only been allowed to see a summary and two years ago she also called for an independent review into the teenagers death.

Seren began to have problems during her teenage years, she went missing whilst living with relatives and when she returned she was placed in the care of foster parents.

An inquest at the time ruled that failings by Pembrokeshire social services didn't contribute to her death.

Pembrokeshire County Council told ITV Cymru Wales it is following Welsh Government guidelines by not making the full report public.
