'Best Welsh buildings' shortlist revealed
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has revealed the list of Wales' most outstanding buildings nominated for awards.
Projects shortlisted in the annual scheme range from the conversion of a Victorian church in Barry to the regeneration of a housing estate in Conwy.
Other contenders include the new entrance pavilion at Caernarfon Castle, the restoration of Cardigan Castle, the new Hirwaun Fire Station, and the Morriston Comprehensive School.
