Winter makes its presence felt with snow and sleet!

Winter is making its presence felt with parts of Wales experiencing snow and sleet overnight.

Higher ground will see the majority of the snow with temperatures dropping to -1C overnight.

It comes after weeks of heavy rainfall which has led to flooding across the country.

Drivers in and around Merthyr Tydfil have been told to take extra care on the roads, after heavy snow caused travel problems earlierthis morning.

Black ice has also been reported in the area.

Bus company Stagecoach said it was re-directing some of its routes because of the weather conditions.
