'Hundreds' of steel jobs set to go at Port Talbot
Hundreds of jobs are set to be axed at the giant Tata Steelworks in Port Talbot.
ITV Wales understands an announcement is likely within the next few weeks and that a major restructuring will happen in a bid to save the plant and keep it open.
But it's feared that up a quarter of the workforce could be sacrificed.
Watch: Jonathan Hill reports
Britain's largest steelworks, the Port Talbot plant employs four thousand people and a further 10,000 in supply chains.
Demand for steel around the world has dropped along with prices and the international market has been flooded with cheap steel.
Tata has already shed 1,200 jobs at its plants in Scunthorpe and Lanarkshire.
