Head and chemistry teacher at disciplinary hearing accused of having sex on school premises
A headmaster and a woman teacher were recorded by a pupil having sex behind the closed door of the head's office, a disciplinary hearing was told today.
Head Graham Daniels, 51, and chemistry teacher Bethan Thomas, 37, face being struck off after being overheard from behind the door - the "sex tape" from a cameraphone' was then put online by pupils.
After the 30-second tape was posted onto Youtube the school received a complaint and the tape was examined by governors and education chiefs.
Both Mr Daniels and Miss Thomas - formerly known as Mrs Bale - resigned from the 750-pupil Ysgol Bryntawe Comprehensive School in Swansea, after the tape was revealed.

Now both could be struck off the teaching register for "unacceptable professional conduct" at the Cardiff disciplinary hearing of the Education Workforce Committee.
Both are accused of taking part "in sexual acts and/or inappropriate behaviour with another member of staff on School premises."
They are also alleged to have "exposed pupils to the behaviour which was recorded by a pupil and subsequently uploaded to social media sites."
Louise Price, the presenting officer, told the hearing it was well known in the school prior to the pair's suspension that they were in some sort of relationship.

School attendance official Susan Lewis told the hearing she she witnessed the pair kissing in Mr Daniels' office.
The hearing was told a special assembly was held to tell pupils to ignore the sex video and focus on their exams.
The school banned children from talking about it on social networking sites saying it was "damaging the school's reputation".
The hearing in Cardiff is continuing and is due to last three days.
