Brecon Beacons activity centre relaunches under private ownership

An outdoor activity centre, which for years was run by the local council, has been revamped and reopened by a private company.

The firm took over the Dolygaer site in the Brecon Beacons early this year, and now offer activities like kayaking, gorge-walking, and climbing.

The site was run by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council until February this year, but they sold it for financial reasons. The new owners say they want to breathe life back into the business.
