Katherine Jenkins to headline 3000th show for Cardiff arena
22 years on and 2999 shows later, the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff has played host to some of the world's biggest musicians and sports personalities.
Now for it's 3000th show, the arena will mark the occasion with a show headlined by one of Wales' most famous singers, Katherine Jenkins.
The gig will mark 22 years on since Welsh songstress Dame Shirley Bassey played at the opening of the venue.
Formerly known as the Cardiff International Arena, the venue has hosted the likes of Oasis, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Westlife and One Direction.
Box office manager, Zaina Roderick, has been there from the very beginning and is the longest serving member of staff.
Zaina has done more than sell tickets and has helped sew a jacket back together for a member of The Strokes and helped dry David Gray's clothes.
She's also helped terminally ill children meet their idols.
Talking about her time at the arena, Zaina said Donnie Osmond has the craziest fans, rock fans are the most polite and respectful and John Bishop and Lee Evans are the nicest people she's ever met.
Our reporter Lauren Hall went to meet Katherine Jenkins to hear about the 3000th show and her tour.
