The cost of the controversial trial junction closures in Port Talbot has topped more than £1.3million.

The Welsh Government confirmed the figure after a Freedom of Information (FOI) request from ITV News.

The twice daily closures at peak times of the westbound on-slip at Junction 41 of the town started early in August as part of an experiment to ease traffic problems.
