50 years on film: Meet the Bangor man who's filmed two Queen Elizabeths and George Best
He bought his first cine camera with his first pay packet as a merchant seaman - determined that he'd film the world as well as see it.
Fifty years on, Mal Edwards from Bangor has amassed quite an archive...
Rob Shelley meets him.
Mal did however film football legend George Best playing at Bangor for a Manchester United side against Wales - a investiture game with footballing royalty.
United played in blue - with 12,000 people crowded into the stands of the old Farrar Road. Hardly any records of the match survive.
Mal's footage - a collection of life captured in nine minute bursts of film at a time - spans from the thousand feet Queen Elizabeth - to the actual Queen Elizabeth at Caernarfon for the investiture.
