From scrap to art: Rhyl firm's wood recycling scheme

A Rhyl-based joinery firm has come up with an innovative scheme to help local schools save money - it's giving away its surplus wood for use in woodwork classes.

Each day across the UK perfectly good and expensive wood goes to waste - yet schools' budgets remain tight.

The father and son behind the idea say it's a mutually beneficial arrangement, which they hope can be adopted by schools and businesses across the country.
