Mumbles Pier damaged by fire

Part of Mumbles Pier has been destroyed after a fire broke out in the early hours of this morning.

Fire crews say more than 30 square meters of decking has been totally destroyed.

More than five crews attended the blaze including specialist units deployed from Tumble.

Mumbles life boat also assisted crews in monitoring the spread of the fire.

Mumbles Victorian Pier is one of Wales' most iconic landscapes.
