Caravan park rescue after serious flooding in Ceredigion
Three people have been airlifted from a caravan park after flooding in West Wales. Two caravan parks near Borth and the village of Talybont have been hit.
The emergency services say the Royal Air Force Sea King helicopter, inshore life boats and fire service rescue boats are all involved in the operation.
People have been rescued from the Riverside caravan park at Llandre and Mill House caravan park at Dol y Bont. There are reports of up to five feet of water running through the centre of Talybont. Many of those who have been rescued were given shelter at Borth lifeboat station.
Emergency services were called at around 3am. About 4-5ft of water was flowing through the main street in Talybont, where about 30 people were sheltering in the community hall and a local pub after being rescued.
