Police investigating teenage boy's death in Portadown

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a teenage boy in Portadown.

It is understood the body of the 16-year-old was discovered at his home on Tuesday afternoon.

Detective Inspector Stephen Harvey said: "A post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death."

Local DUP councillor Darryn Causby, who knew the teenager through his youth work, said it was a tragedy for the area.
