PSNI recover £100,000 digger ‘stolen in England’
A digger worth £100,000 - which is believed to have been stolen in England last week - has been recovered in Northern Ireland.
Police arrested a man after executing a search warrant at a yard in Armagh on Thursday.
Posting on Facebook, they said they are committed to hitting back against the theft of heavy machinery.
“We know the pain and frustration victims of machinery theft are caused,” they said.
“Agricultural/ plant theft ruins livelihoods and ultimately hurts us all. We're committed to hitting back, hunting suspects down, and retrieving stolen machinery where at all possible.
“If you know anything about stolen machinery or plant theft, call us on 101. Make that difference. Help fight back for those who work hard against those who take for themselves.”
